Year three, day one is in the books.
It started great with friends Ed Fendley and Lee Sobel taking me to the put-in and helping me get all of my gear unloaded from car and loaded in boat. Special shout out to @aaron Daley who put us up for the night and got permission to use the put-in site.
Early going was great. Calm and tide going out. Around 11:00 the wind got strong . A headwind of course. The marine forecast was for winds around 5mph and one foot seas. It was 10 mph and seas to 3 feet for a while. The last 8 Miles were hard earned. I think I covered about 20 miles or so today.
I met a lot of nice people today.
